Phishing

Phishing is a fraudulent technique that steals cryptocurrency owners' credentials and ultimately steals their assets.

Criminals pose as a trustworthy entity to trick the user into entering their credentials (with fake emails of copycat platforms for example). Criminals can then steal users' credentials. Once they do, they can use them to log into users' accounts and steal money or data for example.

With phishing campaigns, criminals can also target cryptocurrency users. They must be very careful with their credentials.
